NOTE: As much as I enjoy helping people discover new information about their watches, the sad truth is that the number of such requests has been increasing dramatically of late and I simply don't have enough time to do the necessary research for each request. One or two e-mails per week was one thing, but now I'm getting 10-20 requests per day, many containing pictures and/or descriptions of multiple watches, and it's simply too much for me to deal with if I want to keep my job, spend time with my family, etc.

If you're looking for information about your watch, here are some places you can start:

• Check out my Help Watch Information page for the answers to the most common general questions I get.
• If you find the stuff on my Helpful Watch Information page useful and would like to see more of the same, consider purchasing a copy of my fully-illustrated New Collector's Guide to Pocket Watches, which is now available on Amazon.com in both paperback and Kindle format.

• Check your local bookstore or Amazon.com for the latest copy of Shugart's "Complete Price Guide to Watches." It has a wealth of general information about watches and specific information about individual watch companies, and is also a good place to find out what your watch is worth.
• Drop by the National Association Of Watch and Clock Collectors' Pocket Watch Message Board. The friendly folk over there will be glad to answer any questions they can, as long as you don't ask how much your watch is worth.
