This is a very attractive 18 size Waltham P.S. Bartlett housed in a stamped Waltham coin silver hunting case. It is stem wind and lever set, and has 11 jewels. The original single sunk porcelain dial is free of hairlines and is marked "A.W.C. WALTHAM". The hands are beautiful blue and free of rust or tarnish. The Model 1877 movement is clean, strong running, and keeping good time. Lever set, stem wind. The movement screws are really nice gun metal blue color. Case is stamped on inside front cover "AW CO COIN". Front cover is engine turned with leaf designs and an uninitialed shield. One very small ding in center of cover. Back cover has the same design but no shield. The Serial is #2234979, which dates it to about 1884
