This is a nice early Seth Thomas pocket watch. It is 18 size and is most likely a Model 2, Grade "56" with 11 jewels. It is stem wind and lever set, and is housed in a nicely engraved gold-filled hunter case. The serial number is only 88146, which dates it to about 1890.
